Childlike Faith

Childlike Faith is…

Being completely dependent on my Father.

Resting in my Father’s embrace.

Having no worries; being content and peaceful.

Trusting that my Father will take care of my needs.

Sharing all of my pain with Him as He holds me
close in His arms.

Feeling free to tell Him anything and everything, all
the time, even the little things.

Smiling and laughing constantly.

Finding security and rest in His omnipresence.

Knowing that I am His child and He will always be
there for me.

Being pure and innocent.

Running to Him when I am afraid.

Imitating all of my Father’s ways.

Praising Him extravagantly (dancing around).

Fearing my Father and respecting Him.

Loving people and never failing to wave at strangers.

Knowing that I have much to learn.

Being spontaneous.

The ability to pretend and to dream- the key to
intimate meditation.

“And He said: “I tell you the truth, unless you
change and become like little children, you will
never enter the kingdom of Heaven.” -Matt 18:3
